ABOUT ME
Hello, soon-to-be or new mother, I am Daniela from Across The Spectrum Doula LLC, passionately dedicated to guiding and supporting you through your incredible journey to motherhood. My roots are in the vibrant community of San Juan, Puerto Rico, and have instilled in me a lifelong mission to positively impact lives, especially those of mothers and children.
My own path, marked by the joys of motherhood and the heartache of pregnancy losses, deepened my understanding of the need for compassionate, full-spectrum doula care. This personal connection to motherhood's highs and lows fueled my desire to be the support I once needed and to extend that support to you.
My education stems from the esteemed organizations you might know like BADT, StillBirthday, Hypnobabies, Uzazi Village, Childbirth International, and also DONA, and combined with my personal experiences, uniquely equip me to guide you through the intricacies of motherhood, grief, and the myriad experiences that accompany it.
Becoming a mother myself through New Jersey's foster care system in 2014 taught me resilience amid challenges and the profound joy of welcoming my first son. As a mother of two biological children, I've experienced firsthand the transformative power of doula support during pregnancy and childbirth.
I believe in empowering and nurturing mothers, irrespective of your unique circumstances, as the foundation of a healthy family life. My approach is inclusive and empathetic, ensuring you find comfort and understanding, especially during the most challenging periods of parenthood. Having navigated the complexities of a multicultural, multiracial family, I am particularly attuned to the needs of the Hispanic and Latinx communities, offering bilingual services in English and Spanish.
